We started dancing as a couple some six months before our wedding. We really wanted to put up a proper show at our wedding and we did. After six months of weekly or sometimes even twice a week lessons (and we have to admit we didn’t practice at all in between) we not only delivered a fantastic waltz with lifts and turns and swooshes that got everybody on their feet, we also slotted in some jive, quickstep and cha cha. Our friends loved it, we loved it and we are now continuing the lessons just because we enjoy dancing. The team around Joan are great. Everybody is enthusiastic, they know their stuff, want to help, make it look better. We are having a ball.

Joan has been teaching my daughter Amy for over two years now. Amy came to the dancing class one Wednesday evening and enjoyed it so much that she decided to return and have more lessons with Joan. Joan was very patient with her, and taught Amy at a pace that suited her, with the result that Amy has now taken her bronze and silver medal exams with excellent results. More importantly Amy enjoys the dancing so much and looks forward to her weekly class with Joan. So well done to Dream of Dance, many thanks to Joan for your patience and hard work and inspiring Amy to learn to be a good dancer.

Dream of Dance were fantastic at choreographing our wedding dance. They tailored the dance perfectly to our ability while making the whole experience a lot of fun. We were twirling and giggling throughout. We can’t recommend them enough.

I came to Dream of Dance as an experienced dancer looking for private lessons to polish and grow on my existing dance skills. The quality of tuition at Dream of Dance is exceptional, the teachers are genuinely lovely people, very friendly, patient and put you at ease and the lessons are such good value. I would recommend Dream of Dance school to anyone, beginner or experienced dancers alike. I have progressed so quickly, I am so glad I chose this dance school, I just wish I could attend more often!

Dream of Dance children ballroom lessons are excellent! Having been to past dance schools ( incl Karen Hardy’s which is quite well known ) this is by far the best. Dance sessions challange students to peform to the best of their ability and yet are still really fun. I have learn’t so much in only a year and continue to do so. I would highly recommend to anyone, of any ability. Dream of Dance is just brilliant!!

My daughter has been learning with Dream of Dance for two and a half years. In that time she has taken four exams achieving excellent grades in all of them. I have found Dream of Dance to be a relaxed , friendly and flexible dance school and highly recommend it.
