Dancing with Purpose: Supporting a Vital Cause
In the summer of 2019, Dream of Dance was humbled to lend our support to “Jack’s Goal,” a charity event raising crucial funds for Ali’s Dream, a charity dedicated to funding research for childhood brain tumours.
The event honoured the memory of Jack, who bravely battled a brain tumour from 15 months old until his passing just after his 10th birthday. By providing a vibrant dance class and party filled with energy and laughter, we helped our community come together to contribute to this vital cause.
The funds raised supported the Centre of Excellence at Portsmouth University, where researchers are tirelessly working to find a cure. This event was a powerful reminder of dance’s unique ability to unite people, channel emotion, and create positive change for a cause that touches so many.
